  We ordered a big catering order for a marketing luncheon today. We paid for delivery, and the food was supposed to be delivered and setup @ 11:30 am at our meeting location. I got a call at 10:00 am stating their driver never showed up for the day so I had two options. Option #1-Either I come and pickup the order myself and they'd give me a discount. Option #2-They cancel the order and give me "Free Delivery" on my next order. This wasn't much of an option as I already had engagements and people meeting in a hour for lunch, that I could not show up with out. I will never will be ordering again from here, so it was humorous that they offered me "Free Delivery" on my next order. They didn't try to accommodate at all in getting another staff member to send out or another store to take over, but they were gracious in giving me a very decent discount. Upon arriving the restaurant was empty, no one was in line, and staff were standing around. They could've sent someone else out, but choose not to because this would put them out, but instead it put me out. I believe that if you state catering, you deliver. And when someone doesn't show, you have backups that can go out and deliver if someone doesn't show. This shouldn't be the customer's problem, this should be the caterers.
